I wouldn't mind having a new Global Moderator here and I could help you out as a Global Moderator over there as well. As for the rest of the staff I am not sure I can't speak for them they will have to decide on their own. I think this merger could do some good in setting an example to other communities that working together we can all get our point across better rather than competing with one another.

Hi Jim and welcome sounds like you are going to fit in just great. I was just talking to a friend that is switching over to native species and I think he may want to join this site if he has someone to talk to about native species. I will let him know. The only native species I have are in my freezer. Walleyes, Whitebass, Bluegills etc. I am an old world cichlid guy. Well time to get ready for the park and fireworks.

We have a general aquaria discussion board all topics are welcome there I also have many native Americans in our Lakes and rivers I would love to talk more about them maybe even post some images of the ones we catch on our fishing trips. I believe all fish are related in some way or another just like every other living thing on the planet. Plus Native American fish are just as awesome and can display aggression more damaging than most cichlids display especially when they got a hook in their mouth LOL ;D

I have three ponds on my land and two of them are stocked with massive amounts and many varieties of Native American Fish almost every Bass you can think of Perch, Catfish, turtles, I even have Gar in my creek so yeah maybe I should add a board for American Natives. Just because we are called Cichlid Paradise doesn't mean we only discuss cichlids I love fishing and hunting.

The fish that im currently using as an Avatar is a Warmouth, i have a couple in a 75 community tank, they are supposed to be mid aggressive but i dont find that to be the case, in a highly stocked native community, just as is true with cichlids, the territories are smaller so there is less aggression. Except for the two Dollar sunfish (much smaller sunfish species) i had in there, when the male makes his nest, its kick butt time, so i recommend keeping those little terrors by themselves. Im gonna switch that Avatar occasionally to a different species of North American Native.
