Okay so this happened a few days ago. I didnt say anything right away on here since things have been quiet for a while, but with the return of Mike, I have to bring this in. Somehow, I beleive in a fight between Oscars, my Longfin got one of his sides torn up pretty bad. White fuzz is beggining to grow on it and im afraid my oscar may die. What should I do? I dont have a hospital tank, no room, so what can I do to help him?

There is always the option of adding a tank divider you can use plastic screening with a wooden or plastic frame or just a sheet of plastic or metal would work.
seems you might have two males in that tank which is why they are fighting. How long have these guys been in the same tank and whats the size of the fish and tank so forth?
This could also be a disease similar to hole in the head which these guys are very susceptible too would have to ask someone who know the Oscar a bit better than myself though, I only have book knowledge with these guys.
Thanks for posting Joe. Hope whatever it is they get better real soon.

Well I got the Long-Fined Oscar before the normal one. The Long Fined is the one that is injured and they been together since they were much smaller. They always been sort of fighting, as oscars are expected. Even now I dont see them fight very much, which now I do wonder if it is a disease of some sort. The tank is the famous 90-gallon that I have(after I got rid of my Jack Dempsys. Ill explain that later if you ask) and both Oscars are still relitivly small, though im sure there considered adults.
